Led by Grand Prix-level trainer and manager Jane Hannigan, alongside her accomplished assistant Maureen Trundy (successful through Intermediaire I), our team brings decades of experience to support your goals—from basic riding skills to the Grand Prix arena. Whether you’re focused on competition, sales, or simply advancing your partnership, we offer personalized programs to match your needs.
All Breeds Welcome
We proudly train and board horses of all ages and breeds, from Warmbloods and Lusitanos to draft crosses, ponies, and Friesians. Jane’s extensive breed experience and our commitment to inclusivity mean that every horse and rider is welcome here.

Located just a short drive from Boston and the Concord, MA area, Easily accessible from Rt. 2, Rt. 128, 495 & the Mass. Pike. Moon Owl Farm is an ideal home base for serious equestrians and passionate amateurs alike.
Indoor & Outdoor Arenas
Heated Indoor Arena with:
- Dust-free footing
- Curved arena kickwall

Oversized Outdoor Arena featuring:
- Sand and GGT footing
- Automated sprinkler system
- Scenic Hacking Field on the banks of the Assabet River — Two laps = 1.5 miles of beautiful riding
Comfortable & Flexible Turnout
We offer a variety of turnout options:
- Grass and no-grass paddocks
- Six attached stall runs for extended outdoor access
- Large paddocks available for co-turnout (ideally same-owner pairs)
Nutrition & Care
We feed high-quality second cutting hay from trusted local sources and are happy to accommodate special dietary needs. Grain is supplied by Erickson’s Grain Mill in Acton, giving us access to a wide variety of feed options.
